COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE BOX PROGRAM
Simply put, a CSA Box is a weekly subscription for a box of fresh produce, straight from the farm. CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. CSA programs provide the opportunity to bring consumers (like you) closer to their food by connecting them with local farmers (like us)!
We are proud to offer a limited number of CSA Box subscriptions for our 2023 season. Sign up to enjoy a weekly selection of local, certified organic fresh fruits and vegetables.
How does it work?
Our members sign up for a weekly box that will have between 7 and 10 fresh, organic fruits and vegetables which will vary depending on the season and availability. We aim to ensure that there is good selection in the box each week and will include some of our delicious strawberries, rhubarb and melons as available.
Joining our CSA is a 20 week commitment, from June 16 to October 27th.
Box pick up – When and where?
Pick up is every Friday, Noon to 5:00 pm, at Longview Farms (8277 Central Saanich Road). The first box will be ready for pick up on Friday, June 16th.
Please note: If you are unable to pick up, please make arrangements for a friend to collect your box or let us know that you wish to donate your share that week. Donations will go to the Mustard Seed or Saanich Peninsula Food Bank.
Can we make substitutions?
We are not able to make substitutions. CSA boxes give you a great opportunity to try new products or to share with friends and family!
How much does it cost?
Our CSA box costs $40 per week (20 week season) for a total of $800. We accept payment by credit card and the total cost can be paid up front, or split into two equal instalments ($400 at the time of registration and $400 on August 1st, 2023.)
Ready to sign up?
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call Nora at 250-652-3276 to order your 20 week subscription. First pick up date is June 16th.
